trippers, we're all a bunch of day trippers...

making the most of whatever weather the bali gods throw at us, the last few days have been filled with day trips. yesterday saw us pile into a large 10 seater van to ubud and head up the mountains where it was certainly a few degrees cooler. first on the agenda was the infamous monkey forest and temples. next was naughty nuri’s for insanely tasty bbq ribs and bintang on tap. with a few pit stops on the way home into a woodcarving gallery and a silver merchant and crafter, i would have to say a fabo day was had by all, in this quirky little village which is also the final site of elizabeth gilberts eat, pray love.

note. the definate highlight – sarah getting hissed and scratched at, by a monkey, after trying to stroke its mohawk...

today was a bit more cruisey with jen, kp and i all opting for a quiet night, to make the most of the day today while the others...p.s. got sloshed, ate pringles and watched the sunrise. jenna and i set off early for a day trip to nusa dua, to visit turtle island and do a bit of snorkelling and kp headed to the surf. f.y.i. some photos included from legian beach, uluwatu, ubud and nusa dua for all you family and friends following our travel blog.
