as we are spending the first two weeks of our trip in canada
enjoying the slopes of the big white and a white christmas, the rest of our
trip will be based around the glorious sunshine and beaches of the caribbean. with
this slight dilemma in mind and the fact that i have a great new 40L backpack, i
need to pack smart.
our last trip, we both took 70L kathmandu interloper packs
but found them a little too big for what we needed - read. they allowed us to
carry to much crap that we didn’t really need. this time around i am downsizing
to ensure that this doesn’t happen again. so this is what my little home will
be looking like for the next few months.
with quiet a sizeable change from old to new, i will need to
pack strategically and have therefore enlisted the recommendations of
travelling fashionistas from around the globe. one of my favourite sites for
this is travel fashion girl, a site dedicated to helping travellers pack
fashionably while pragmatically. if you, like me a looking at a winter and
summer vacay, alex has you sorted on lists, items and essentials that need to
be in your backpack or suitcase, if you will.
p.s. on a quick side note, i have created an travel packing
list on burma which will be featured on travelfashiongirl in the coming weeks.
p.p.s. if you are in need of some packing accassories, head
on over to ciao bella for everything you need as far as travel wallets,
sleeping masks and even great gifts for honeymooners.
