nautical fever...

sun, sailing and cider all make for the perfect holiday. after meandering our way from blue pearl bay to sid harbour, we opted to spend one evening at hamilton island before heading over to whitehaven beacg. with reports of 5-10 knots winds for the next few days, the world class beach could not have been more picture perfect.

after overnighting there we slowly motored up past esk island, which was postcard perfection, before overnighting in nara inlet. unfortunately for the boys, we only got to get the sails up a few times over the week as there was not alot of wind around, however it gave them ample time to fish. 

although short, we had a magical week sailing the whitsundays. our next big adventure is scheduled for march 2013 but i am sure there will be a few more epic weekends away and maybe even a sneaky surprise trip in there somewhere.
